A Mongolian delegation, comprised of six officials from the country’s Ministry of Transport, visited SWJTU on May 26th. To strengthen the strategic cooperation in rail transit with the university, the delegation was looking forward to promoting degree and non-degree programs with SWJTU.
President XU Fei, Associate Vice President WANG Xiaoru and representatives from the School of Distance and Continuing Education, and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, attended the meeting.
Xu remarked that the two sides would deepen the cooperation responding to China’s One Belt One Road Initiative. Academic and personnel exchange, students training, technological research and other cooperation were expected to be initialized in the upcoming years.
Chief of the Department of Railway and Shipping, Mongolian Ministry of Transport, hoped to develop cooperation tie with SWJTU to promote the academic exchange and personnel training between the two sides.
The detailed cooperation issues such as degree programs development, student joint cultivation, scholarship application and high-level personnel training were discussed.
